Long after the final whistle Jerusalem manager HerraPastori can be seen still staring at the scoreboard. It says Jerusalem 5 - Liverpool 1. It's time to have a few words with the man of the hour:
Reporter: HerraPastori, a wonderful win in the opening match. Tell us how you feel?
HerraPastori: Thank you, thank you. I, well, erm, ... sorry it's so emotional, let me compose myself a bit. ... ok, err, yeah what a match and truly a dream come true for me. I've dreamed of a moment like this since I was a little kid. I'm over the moon.
R: A dream come true you say? Please let us know why buhti means so much to you?
HP: Well as I said I've dreamed of something like this for a long long time, ever since I was a kid. It all began when I was playing in the forest and this homeless man came to me and said I should come visit him in his palace and that he has a treat for me. I hesitated but he looked trustworthy so I thought what the heck, we only live once. The "palace" was just a shack in the woods but when those "palace doors" opened and I got some of that sweet treat into my mouth I couldn't believe it! All my senses exploded! Later he told me it is called buhti and I've dedicated my life to celebrate it ever since. So you can understand a tournament dedicated to celebrate buhti and a huge win like this... I... I just can't believe it.
R: Wow what a warm and inspiring story. I think we can all relate to your feelings today HerraPastori. Today is your day and buhti day!
HP: Oh thank you, yes it's the best day of my life!
There we have it! More Buhti Cup action on Friday when most of the Round 1 games are played. Stay tuned!
